LAAM is a landscape architecture studio founded in 2018, rooted in a collaboration between Lorenzo Acciai and Daniele Morini, both Landscape Architects, which began during their university years. The studio operates with offices in Florence and Shanghai.
Their professional experience, shaped by past and ongoing projects and enriched by international influences, comes together in a dynamic, contemporary and essential design approach. Their work is deeply attentive to the historical identity of each place, while allowing the power and uniqueness of natural elements to take centre stage and guide the creative process.
They believe that good design begins with an in-depth understanding of a place and its history. These elements provide the foundation for a coherent architecture, in harmony with its surroundings, capable of enhancing every nuance and distinctive quality of the site. Their projects are characterised by the use of strong and distinctive gestures, giving each intervention its own identity and character.
Committed to a sustainable approach that respects both the landscape and its history, LAAM explores innovative techniques, makes use of local materials and carefully selects native plant species.
